ORGANIC FARMING AND COMPOSTING
We are also engaged in providing training to the youths and the unemployed in various organic farming methods through which these youths can generate income within a short span of time. These types of cultivations has helped numerous underprivileged people to generate sustainable source of income for themselves and their families. We also encourage the youths and help them develop interest in cultivation.
Discarding the house hold waste is becoming a major problem in North Bengal region. Hence to overcome this problem North Bengal Art Academy organizes seminars and workshops where common people are taught how to prepare pits for preparing composts. These kinds of activities have helped a number of villages to organize their household wastes which has further contributed in cleaning the surrounding. The end products of composting are used for organic farming locally. These composts can also be packed and sold for income generation.
